Judith Pilkington
BEd (Special Needs). MA Professional Learning (Early Years & Special Needs), MEd Autism, Post Graduate Certificate in Speech and Language difficulties.
As a qualified teacher of children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) with over 25 years’ experience teacher, I ensure my knowledge and understanding of SEND is current. I know that staff training and development is essential for effective inclusive practice. I recognise the strength of training that is national recognised, standardised and accredited.
I have specialist knowledge and experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). For more than ten years I offered mainstream settings guidance, support, and advice in meeting the needs, raising aspirations and improving outcomes for pupils with SEN.
